This is the most ‘fun’ catch I came across this month: Nabih Berri started his ‘career’ with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Yes, believe it or not. Berri collaborated with the CIA, but failed to keep up with them.
This was mentioned by the former intelligence officer Michael Pilgrim on the History Commons who said:
Berri was targeted for CIA recruitment and so were members of his militia…I think it’s safe to say we financed his early trips to Iran. He also commences relationships with the Drug Enforcement Agency and Defense Intelligence Agency…To prove his loyalty to the Shi’a (later) and keep the alliance that was essential to his power base, he failed to pass on intelligence to the United States.
I don’t necessarily mean by this post, that he’s still with them; there is a lot of bureaucracy involved with the American paycheques!

This semi dictator nemesis should be removed like Bin Ali and Mubarak. I’m sure the Lebanese people have had enough of his crap!
What about the famous US Embassy lunch during the 2nd Lebanon War, and all the Wikileaks Cables. Historical and Hystirical.
Can you please provide more details?
