In whatever way I try to read some Western commentary on Iran’s nuclear issue, I see Saddam Hussein, his Weapons of mass destruction programme (WMD) and the spin around it by George Bush and his administration.
George Bush knew from the start that his invasion to Iraq was based on a lie, and we know now where it originated from too. And of course, we knew from the start that Saddam has nothing to do with Al-Qaeda as Bush claimed.
Tony Blair boasted about the famous 45-minute claim which defined Saddam’s capability in mobilising a WMD attack, which we ultimately knew that it came from a…taxi driver.
I see in the Western commentary as well how Israel’s interests can drive the foreign policy of the world’s biggest nation, the United States. Some US media brag on how Iran is a threat to America…on American soil; really? How?
The similarities between the preparatory work for the pre-2003 Iraq dossier and the current warmongering about Iran are striking.
Why not when 70% of Americans believe that Iran has nuclear weapons, when Iran does NOT have any nuclear weapons at this moment of time. I repeat, 70% of Americans believe a false matter (refer to the below video).
Aljazeera English, during its Listening Post programme, reported on how some US media are taking the lead in misleading its audiences on Iran. Check Aljazeera’s below 8min edited video, which saves me the rest of the talk…
Richard Gizbert asking “who is the threat to whom”:
good work please keep it going.
